About Me

Apart from creating my own work, I also research historical craft techniques, contribute to history re-enactment days, teach and demonstrate at Museum workshops.

I was fortunate to be granted access to the glass studio at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design under the Artist's Access to Art Colleges scheme, AA2A, which enabled me to further explore my work in glass. I have since been a Visiting Tutor at BIAD (part of Birmingham City University) in the Studios, and the department of Theoretical and Historical Studies. I am currently a Tutor in Ceramics and Glass.

I am the resident potter/tutor at Avoncroft Arts Centre near Bromsgrove.
I enjoy teaching a variety of crafts to a range of people of different abilities.

I feel that access to creating, making, and personal expression are vital parts of human nature and well being.

I am available to run workshops and courses in a range of crafts in areas of the West Midlands, such as, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, and Shropshire.
